This is the name of a my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Philly. Also, what do the words mean? They have a picture of a train engine in neon in their window. Does it have something to do with trains, or does it perhaps mean something like "express"?
And since I'm asking about Vietnamese pronunciations, what is the proper pronunciation of the soup phô? And the name Ng?
Yes. I've seen "Ng" as a last name, and I presume that's Vietnamese.

I always order the same thing from this Vietnamese restaurant....bun tom thit nuong cha gio. I have no idea how to pronounce it and feel like an idiot going in there three times a week and ordering the "number 19." Can anyone explain how to pronounce that?

My boyfriend and i have been dating for 8 months now and I still haven't met his parents. Once before when we ate at a vietnamese restaurant, several older couples turned and looked at me. Then they started talking about the "white girl".

Whenever I order chả giò at a Vietnamese restaurant, they don't know what I'm talking about. How do you pronounce it? Also nước mắm?
