I would like to translate the Vietnamese proverb from English to Vietnamese.
"Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet".
I would really like a Vietnamese speaking person to do this so it is done correctly- not just with an online translator.
I am making a baby book for my brother and sister-in-law and she is Vietnamese and I think this would make it more special and personal for her. Also if you know any other sayings or phrases that are appropriate for a new baby in Vietnamese please send them my way (with the English translations please!)

Like...
"Hi, my name is...." in vietnamese...

I'm meeting my boyfriend's parents who prefer a girl who can speak Mandarin, so I'm trying to learn some basic phrases (hello aunty, how are you, etc) I'm Vietnamese and 1/4 Chinese, though I speak neither languages.

My Taiwanese friends have been coaching me but I'm still having trouble maintaining the accent.. any how to videos or something?

My first language was Vietnamese. I was speaking it all the time when I was about 5 - 6 then suddenly I started school, and had the speak english, then I must've forgotten to speak it. I mean, I can say speaking simple words or little phrases. And I completely understand when other people are talking around me, but don't really know how to speak it

To an adult (woman)
1) Thank you for having me here.

To a guy friend: (just to joke around)
1) Hello Cutie
2) Hello Handsome
3) I'm hungry...
4) Your just jealous because I know how to speak vietnamese.

(and any other vietnamese phrases that would make a viet guy laugh) lol. we like to joke around a lot.

I've been trying to find websites,videos,or software on learning vietnamese and so far,I haven't come up with one decent one. I don't want to learn phrases but more advanced,like writing and identifying letters and words in Vietnamese ,and also how to pronunciate correctly. I'm all for free recommendations out there~

My girlfriend is Vietnamese, it's finals week next week, I like to surprise her every once in a while, and I only speak English & Japanese so please help me out. Native speakers are preferred.
