The REAL IRAQ:VIETNAM CORRELATION?

Dems in Vietnam: Voted for troops to go, voted for troop increases, later regretted it, sought to sabotage for political gains. TWO YEARS After troops were withdrawn they yanked funding to the South Vietnamese Army defending the fledgling South Vietnamese democracy and the North Vietnamese (supported by the Soviets) invaded and killed 1.5 million South Vietnamese six weeks later. The pictures of US Army helicopters plucking desperate south vietnamese in the way of certain death by the NVA off the rooftops of the US embassy are still vivid. Those were the very few lucky ones.
The dead cannot speak, but if they could they would say that the democrats are prepared to create yet another holocaust for political gains, by prematurely yanking support from Iraqis. Their democratically elected government WANTS the US there, and if they say leave, the US will leave. But the democrats would rather millions die than see any rep success, plus MORE terror hits will be forthcoming-anarchy!
Again TWO FULL YEARS AFTER WE WITHDREW the Dems yanked funding to assure sabotage of the South Vietnamese Democracy and 1.5 million died.
We were not there fighting any more.
The Dems put politics over 1.5 million lives. They will do the same with Iraq.
First sabotage: Pull Out and watch it implode. Second Sabotage: Yank all support to Iraqis in any form to assure ashes and death.
The problem is the democrats are STUPID, this is NOT Vietnam, the ME matters to the US due to oil and terrorism. The dems think they will make political points, but we aren't buying their ticket this time --- we see their ruthless agenda, the fallout, the holocaust and terrorism will be the fault of the democrats--it's their choice. Abrupt pullout is NOT what Americans want, they want troops home AND peace in Iraq--but the democrats will abuse the intention to sabotage.

Hey everyone,

I'm writing an essay on the Watergate scandal and I have to talk about the Vietnam War since it leads to the Pentagon Papers and the eventually cover up of the burglary to steal those papers.

I came across a section in a book that reads Cambodia was a neutral territory but before it states that the North Vietnamese had "safe" havens inside the country.

Could somebody please help me understand this? Thanks in advance.
