or language, they only use little french words and thats just because they dont have a word for it like house hold items. No one in vietnam ever try to show off that they were mix with french, those acutally mixed, will get people to make fun of them

while filipinos they were colonized by the spanish, and now everybody in filipno think/or hope to be mixed with spain. and glorify that they grandpa/grandma was white so they 1 quarter white

hiii. so today im meeting my boyfriend's Vietnamese family. Hes half Mexican and half Vietnamese so im only meeting his dad's side of the family today. Im so nervous and I was wondering if anyone has some tips or advice! His dad and grandma and uncle and aunt are gonna be there. and they dont really speak english. This is really awkward for me since im Hispanic and im afraid they wont like me because of that. any advice would really help! THANKS

Well the thing is that I'm looking up vietnamese recipes for my grandmother,and right now I'm lookin getting them up on youtube.com.I need to know how to say vietnamese food in vietnamese so i can look up these recipes.Plus my Grandma can only speak vietnamese,therefore the videos i look up have to be all in vietnamese.
