My half sister was lucky enough to be able to speak some Vietnamese. I would suggest to you that you ask your parents to teach you their native language. Canada is a vast and wondrous multi-cultural country. Having the ability to communicate in a second language is something that is an asset in many companies. The Vietnamese population is growing steadily within Canada and having a working knowledge of your second language will be an asset to you in many fields of employment.
