Is the roughly 60% Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary derived mostly from Mandarin or from Cantonese?

I'm learning Mandarin, but want to learn Vietnamese too. If most of it comes from Mandarin, I'll probably hold off so I can get more transfer when I go for Vietnamese. But if it comes mostly from Cantonese, I guess I could learn both at the same time and if so, would this help me at all with Cantonese, should I learn that further off in the future?

You can try some Information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnamese_language
Vietameses use latin letter and not mandarin.
sorry for disappointing you but Vietnamese is no where similar to Madarin. Don’t mention about the writing, the grammar structure and accent is totally different from Madarin.
