		<description>It may still be spoken by some older Vietnamese as a second language due to the control of Vietnam by the French from the mid 1800&#039;s - 1941.  Probably very little though.  But it is just an educated guess.</description>

		<description>French is a second language there. The dominant language is... Vietnamese. French is still taught in some schools but is slowly losing popularity as many of the youth don&#039;t see a real reason to learn it since French was only needed way back in the colonial days there.</description>
