I want to learn how to speak vietnamese?

   I’m Viet and I can tell you that its not as hard as it looks to speak another language.
   Ok……..I’ll give you tips I guess.
   1. When I usually learn a new word I try to relate it to another Idea or word. soo…..just think of something the word reminds you of and relate it to the meaning.
   2. When you speak Vietnamese you have to put your accent on the marks. Its called Dau in Vietnamese. The marks include……..
   ( . ) ( ~ ) ( / ) ( \ ) ( ? ) ( )-no mark

   . you slur your word down so its heavy
   \ you slur down a bit
   / you slur up a bit
   ~ you slur alitle longer then ? and make up and down slurs
   ? slur it like a question
   ( ) you dont slur at all.

   ~ and ? sound alike but ~ will usually be longer.
   . and \ sound almost the same accept . is heavier accented
