I doubt it. As long as there are people that know Vietnamese and are teaching it to other people, the language will not die. There are specific levels of moribund languages and I don’t believe Vietnamese was even on that language list.
There are 80+ million speakers in the world, so the chances of it dying out any time soon are inexistent. Over a long period of time it may evolve into different languages/dialects though, as happens with most languages.
