I was born in Vietnam. I am working in the Client service field, and would love to have a chance to work in another country in Asia or Europe or American. I dont know how I can look for jobs there. I can speak English and French, and of course Vietnamese. I prefer discovering the world out there rather than sticking in the same place
Helen Elena Lopez, a beautiful lovely Mexican lady, who is married to a Vietnamese male singer whom has taught her..?
Helen Lopez, a young beautiful lovely Mexican lady, who is married to a Vietnamese male singer whom has taught her to sing and talk in Vietnamese!
I'm so amazed by her Vietnamese accent and her singing ability in Vietnamese. She even picks up the native Vietnamese accent as well.
Here is one of her clip!
@ Liên:
I will support you no matter what! Will you sing for me someday, dear?
I'd love to hear your voice!
I'm myself (Vietnamese) mixed Chino (Cantonese) and I can't speak a word of Vietnamese. I consider myself an American born Vietnamese.
My parents never taught me Vietnamese. I heard most French Vietnamese people don't speak Vietnamese.
I'm 17 and I feel isolated from most Vietnamese people.
I feel like the only Asian guy out there who doesn't speak his own language.
How about you?
How do you coupe with this?
I need words of encouragement.
Hey, I was wondering if it would be hard for a fluent Vietnamese speaker (like myself) to learn Japanese? Would it be easier than if i only knew English?
Can someone help me translate the last name Quach and Le, and the first name Tam and Huy into Chinese? Those names are in Vietnamese, and I want to know how to write them in Chinese. If you know any website that would translate Vietnamese into Chinese name, that would be better because I have different names that I also want to translate.
I can speak and understand Vietnamese fluently but I did not understand a word that they scream out during battle. Are they really speaking Viet? I'm sure a games company with a large budget should be able to get some REAL vietnamese speech in the game instead of random gibberish that SOUNDS a little Vietnamese. Could else anyone understand it?
sorry, i meant in Yahoo Language displayed in Mail...., I think I know how to change it.... thanks
I just need a quick translation.
Thanks in advance.

I'm Vietnamese, but I live in the United States all my life so I can barely speak Vietnamese. My grandparents are coming to visit and they always speak to me in Viet, and so I usually just nod my head awkwardly.
I figured I might as well learn to speak it better, so are there any websites or dictionary programs that not only translates from Vietnamese to English, but has a sound byte of how to say the Vietnamese word? Thanks.
Can somebody who speaks Vietnamese please translate the phrase "Alo Quat" to English for me?
All I can tell you is it was said a lot by a group of young guys I met, and it was their drinking toast i.e. their "cheers".
Apparently it's "not something a gentleman would say whilst drinking" (so apologies if I'm being rude!) but since I'm currently writing my memoirs of Vietnam I would appreciate a more literal translation.
It was written in my notebook too, the "o" in "Alo" has a ^ above it, and the "a" and "t" in "Quat" have a semi-circle and apostrophe mark above them respectively.
Hope that makes sense, and thanks for your help!
Does anyone know a female Gynocologist in Toronto that speaks Vietnamese?

The guy I like is from Vietnam, and I want to say some things in Vietnamese to him. xD I already know Chao Anh, but I want to know some other things haha. Like "You look cute today"..things like that. xD And it would be really helpful if you told me how to pronounce it too, because..well I don't speak Vietnamese, I only have experience with Korean when it comes to Asian languages. I'm a Vietnamese-American, but unfortunately I never bothered to speak Vietnamese at home. Since I moved out, I have no Vietnamese speakers to talk to. Can anyone recommend some good books or resources to help me?
Hi, I just wanted to talk to my grandfather who speaks only fluent Vietnamese. I can speak very little, but not enough to have a conversation. I have been translating English to Vietnamese text on Vdict.com, but was wondering if anyone knew of a website or a download where I could translate text to speech in Vietnamese? I can't read the writing so do not know how to pronounce the words. This would allow me to memorize the phrase or sentence and repeat it to my grandfather. Thank you very much, I really appreciate your help.
Hi, I'm going to Vietnam and I can speak vietnamese, what are some things in vietnamese should i say to a beautiful vietnamese woman?
I live in the United States and I send e-mail to a friend in Vietnam. When the E-mail is complete, the spell check feature catches all of the Vietnamese words and thinks they are misspelled words, when in fact they are words from the Vietnamese vocabulary. I am wondering how to add the new Vietnamese words I use to the Yahoo E-mail vocabulary so in the future spell check will not prompt me when it finds the Vietnamese words I use. Any help or tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated as this is starting to drive me crazy! Thank you in advance, have a nice day!
The Spaniards have affected the Philippines culturally and linguistically, but it seems like the former nations of Indochina (Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia) have managed to get rid of French influences.
What from the French has remained in any or all of these nations? Language, traditions, culture?
anyone know please help me
I want to learn to speak Vietnamese. Does anyone know how I could learn for free?
Hi,
My husband purchased a new coat and when he tried it on today he noticed in one of the pockets was a folded piece of paper with some message written in vietnamese. (The jacket was made in vietnam and when i searched some of the words online, vietnamese websites came up). I tried a vietnamese translation but nothing came up.
The note said : Boc toy truo mi, Boc gau truo mi.
Any help is welcome THANK YOU!
Always curious how Asia ended up speaking Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and so on. I am half-Korean and very little. It's just something I've always been curious about.
